I’m wondering – are some afraid of success?

There are a couple of basic truths in network marketing that are just truths.  One – Multi-level marketing is a business therefore you should be able to take your results to the bank.  Two – Multi-level marketing’s biggest success stories come from people who use, know and understand leverage or more simplistically, they understand the concept of the more people you present your opportunity to, the more will join your business and the more money you will make.  Pretty simple.

So as I watch what people are doing I wonder if they are afraid of success.  When I see someone doing the same thing over and over again without showing any take to the bank results I wonder – Are they afraid of financial success? or is it something else?

Is there an element of self-sabotage in play?  Take to the bank success is directly proportional to the number of people you present your opportunity to.  Present your opportunity to !

If you’re not presenting, you’re not growing no matter how many friends you have, how many blogs you’ve done, or where and how often you click, copy, paste or tweet about your success.

Are your excuses just covering up fear of success?   I can’t introduce my opportunity to a stranger, we’re not friends yet.  I can’t talk to my family and friends.  I can’t leave this company, I’ve got such wonderful products! upline! downline ! I can’t tell my spouse I’m not making money in this company and go somewhere else.  I can’t switch companies, what will people say?  I can’t ……..  So you stay or you keep doing what you’ve always done.  I agree, change is scary and success is a change for many, many people.

If you want to change your life you have to change your life.

Be successful enough to take it to the bank.  That’s when you are in a position to really help people.

To your success,

    Thank you.

  2. It is so true that most people are afraid of success, and they don’t even realize it.
Self-Sabotage is usually masked by excuses.
    Jim Rohn says it best:
”For things to change, You have to change!”

    Thanks Joyce
